WINE DINNER – THAI THEME @ Ashlawn Clubhouse

Featuring Guest Chef, Kit Ashi, owner and executive chef of Monsoon Siam and Pineapple in Charlottesville.  Kit was a contestant on “Chopped” Thai Takedown episode.  Dinner will be held in the Lake Room at Ashlawn Clubhouse.

Wine pairings and an amazing menu:

Passed appetizers : Veggie roll with Tamarine peanut sauce  and Veggie Curry puff with cucumber relish

1st – Fried papaya with Kao Soy sauce and pickled cabbage

2nd – Grilled sliced salmon, shallots, cilantro, capers, chili flakes with Larb sauce

3rd – Roasted duck, red curry pineapple, grape tomatoes, basil with jasmine rice

4th – Pandan sweet rice, mango, crumble Pina colada ice cream
