Jon Zlock

Jon Zlock is a middle school teacher by trade (7th Grade Language Arts at Fluvanna Middle School) and a singer-songwriter/local musician by hobby. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Jon has played at Nashville music venues The Basement East, 12th and Porter and The Row. Prior to the birth of his and wife Molly’s twins 11 years ago, Jon played the local music scene in North Jersey, just outside of New York City, extensively. Heavily influenced by Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews and Jason Isbell, Jon plays original songs and a wide range of ’80s and ’90s covers, mostly songs you’d play in a jukebox if jukeboxes. A lifelong lover of all things music, Jon has auditioned for The Voice and Nashville Star and is very much looking forward to performing at the Bunker Bistro.
