ELI COOK BLUES BAND on Halloween!!
Eli grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he was influenced by a diverse range of music from his parents’ record collection. He began playing guitar at the age of 13 and started performing acoustic blues just two years later at local venues. Eli’s band was the first band I hired on NYE in 2004 at Fellini’s. Cook’s music is characterized by a blend of traditional and modern blues, often described as “blue, blue, Blues.” He draws inspiration from legendary blues artists such as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Son House,while also incorporating elements from rock and other genres.
